Number of GOOSE to subscribe to:

Each P3 can subscribe up to 64 APPID (publishers) from up to five MAC
addresses
•
Maximum number of GOOSE messages to be processed at the same time:
each GOOSE control block (GCB) or APP ID is processed typically in 7 ms
(minimum is 3.5 and maximum 10 ms).
•
Typical blocking scheme on a busbar:

Because each GOOSE sent from any feeder has the same function
(blocking the subscriber overcurrent protection), the blocking happens
upon the reception of the first GOOSE received.
◦
For example, if there are 32 feeders:
–
Fault on any line: A single GOOSE is sent by the device seeing the
fault.
–
This GOOSE is processes by the incomer device, typically in 7 ms
(min. 3.5 ms and max. 10 ms).
