7. Exporting SCL files
7.1. Creating an SCL file online
Before starting this procedure, configure the IEC 61850 communication and
GOOSE as instructed in chapters 3 and 4 of this document.
Follow this procedure to create an SCL (CID, ICD or IID) file online.
1. To read all settings from the device:
a. On the Easergy Pro toolbar, click the Read settings icon.
b. From the drop-down menu, select Read all settings.

2. Set the right IEC 61850 edition in the file.

3. To export the SCL file:
a. On the Easergy Pro toolbar, click the Tools icon.
b. From the drop-down menu, select Export > Export CID/SCL file....

4. In the SCL Generation Options window that opens:

Select or unselect the checkbox for RCB names with indexes according
to the client system configuration.
