III. Situation (04 marks) Giving information about your hotel
Student will be an Employee and Examiner will be a Guest. Make a conversation between the Guest and the Employee.
Guest: You are a retired shopkeeper. Your hobbies are going for long walks and bird watching. You haven’t got a great amount of money to spend on your holiday, but you are not interested in luxurious living in any case, and you like to have peace and quiet.
You would to stay for a few days in a pleasant seaside town where you could easily walk along the coast – but you haven’t made up your mind how long you will stay. You are finding out from the Reservations Clerk at the Cliff Hotel whether the rates and the style of accommodation there will suit you. Ask questions as necessary, and decide whether you want to stay at the hotel, and for how long.
Employee: You are the Reception Clerk at the Cliff Hotel. Here are the rates:

The hotel has full central heating and a comfortable residents’ lounge; it is licensed to serve alcohol. There are excellent walks from the hotel along the shore in either direction. There is a dinner – dance at weekends, and a band in the bar most nights to lead residents in a sing – song.
