Explain the main functions of the reservation chart.
III. Situation (04 marks) Checking in
Student will be an Employee and Examiner will be a Guest. Make a conversation between the Guest and the Employee.
Guest: You‘d like a single room for this evening. You have no reservation. You want to know if the hotel has a bar and a restaurant. You will have a late dinner. You’d like a wake-up call at 7.00 tomorrow morning.
Employee: It’s 8.00 pm. You are working for the Amazon Hotel and now receiving a guest at the front desk.
After checking you can let the guest have a room. It’s US$ 110. Give him/her the key and key card. The room number is 315.
Ask if the guest will have dinner. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar but no Room service. The guest has to go to the restaurant if he/she wants a late dinner.
You make sure the guest will have the wake-up call.
The porter will show him/her up.
