List the things a hotel receptionist often does when a guest checks out.
III. Situation (04 marks) Hotel Reservation
Student will be an Employee and Examiner will be a Guest. Make a conversation between the Guest and the Employee.
Guest: Telephone the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel to make a reservation. Be ready to give details of the dates and the type of room you need. Find out what the Reservation Clerk can offer you. Decide whether to make a firm reservation or not.
Employee: You are a Reservations Clerk working for the Hanoi Daewoo. You are unable to give the Guest exactly what he/she wants, but you can offer an alternative. In this case you can offer the room type he/she wants, but for different dates.
Take the Guest’s reservation if he/she decides to make a firm reservation.
