According to Likert's findings, authoritative leadership can manifest as exploitative or benevolent. In the exploitative style, the leader takes control because of a lack of trust in subordinates. Not listening to everyone's opinions and only caring about their own opinions will gradually lead things in bad directions, without any consequences result.
Ex : The saying “Democracy does not create great products. To do that, you need a wise dictator” speaks volumes about his leadership style. He always worked according to his principles and showed a harsh attitude towards the ideas of experts. Steve Jobs always promoted his autocratic power to achieve special achievements
He is always domineering and strong in his decisions. With his plans, he ignored everyone's objections or criticism, he just did what he thought was right.
A typical example is when he just returned to Apple, the price continued to slide without stopping. It was Apple's darkest period. To solve the problem, he first decided to lower the price of preferred shares. He decided to do it and had to do it immediately, ignoring the objections of the finance department. And Steve Jobs reaped the rewards when the stock price in one month increased from 13 to 20 dollars.
