GOING TO OCTOGONAL DIVINE PALACE

New news has just been received about return of Caodaism Head, spreading from the central of Kim Bien”.



I would like to record the unchanged content for all readers of Le Lien newspaper.

VOICE –

On the punctual 5th May of calendar, 10th June 1959, it has been 70 years that I had been living in a carnal body. On the punctual day, I sat in an octagonal coffin (Lotus Throne). From there, I saw thousands and thousands of disciples passing. All ten thousands of other ones also knew the “sign” in order to recognize them later when the time comes”.

The continuous voice with a sad sound in a while”

There are people who can come, but they do not come. There are people wanting to come, but they cannot come. For the next people (people wanting to come can not come), I also give them a” sign” from my octagonal Lotus Throne”.



The voice continues:

The His Holiness King and Cambodia Royal Government have done things which are needed to be done in order to express tolerant heart understanding noble relation of brothers. With that noble gesture, His Holiness King replied to a letter sent respectfully by Me three days ago before my soul left the carnal body. However, in the invisible, I can hear and see”.



At this time, the voice kept silent, I was waiting for next voice but I did not hear. Therefore, is this information of “spiritual communication”?

Did I dream? Among them, there are details that I feel happy to recheck:

- The octagonal coffin?

- The carnal body shrouded in sitting position?

- The letter was sent 3 days ago before leaving the body?

This Le Lien newspaper was pressed on over the world. It perhaps appeared in Cambodia. If in place or other places, there is someone knowing this, kindly write a letter to let me know more about this event in order to reject or confirm events that I have just recorded here. (After studying divine mystery)

“For the experience and examination of Observatory and Theosophy Service in France, according to the letter of Mr. Olion and Divine Messages of Mrs. Sarah Bartel: on the date of welcoming Saint, there were full of: Buddhas, Saints, Immortals attending, there was a man wearing nice dress with helmet and cuirass to be seated in medium position. There were Buddhas, Immortals, Saints, Deities went to valet and welcome that Soul’s “return”.

The female medium Sarah Bartel recorded correctly because before His Holiness Ho Phap Pham Cong Tac returned to Heaven, 3 days ago, His Holiness Ho Phap had still lied on a sick-bed at the Calmette hospital. His Holiness had signed on the letter of last word sending to His Holiness King Norodom Surmarit (father of prince Norodom Sihanouk) that two persons Principal Archbishop Thai Khi Thanh and Priest Thai Dong Thanh went to the Royal Palace to submit to His Holiness King.

Before the time of returning to Heaven, why had His Holiness Ho Phap remembered the Temple approved with the first case by the Highest Court of Cambodia Royal Government: to destroy the Caodaism Temple (order sentenced on 13th March 1957 of First Case Court).

Before, the Caodaism Temple in Phnom Penh Capital was built on a piece of land at No. 37 Pierre Pasquier Avenue (Phnom Penh) in 1930. Until 1954, the Cambodia Royal Government requisitioned this piece of land in order to construct a Veterinary of Royal Troop.

Due to benefit of project, Cambodia Government negotiated with Sacerdotal Council. Therefore, the Caodaism Sacerdotal Council in Pnom Penh agreed to transfer in order to exchange for 03 pieces of land in Tou Sway Prey belonging district 5, Phnom Penh Capital according to correspondence No.: 4882/BA signed on 20th October 1954.

Until 21st February 1955, the Cambodia Sacerdotal Council belonging Religious Region in Phnom Penh submitted a letter to petition to the Royal Government to building the Caodaism Temple at the land area, which had just been transferred so that Caodaism Disciples had a palace for worship. The project would be carried out by wood and tile and it was approved by City Major of Phnom Penh according to license No.: 557/GV signed on 17th June 1955.

The plan of building Temple was begun correctly according to the license No.: 557/GV dated 17th June 1955. Then, His Holiness Ho Phap Pham Cong Tac and Retinue Dignitary delegation went to Phnom Penh of Cambodia in exile. His Holiness Ho Phap immediately guided the Caodaism Sacerdotal Council of Religious Region of Cambodia to submit to Royal Government for a building project with ferro-concrete. The elder brother Giam Dao (Juridical Inspector) Huynh Huu Loi took care of project petition to Royal Government.

Many upheavals happened for this Temple. One first case forced to destroy this Temple.

Under the attention of lawyer Blaquierre in protecting the interests of Royal Government, the lawyer Khing See stepped out a gallery of Court to speak in a low voice to Archivist Le Quang Tan about report of lawyer Blaquierre. The Archivist Le Quang Tan immediately spoke in a low voice to sub-dignitaries and disciples leaving the court gradually by two buses to the Temple. There were 20 dignitaries, male and female sub-dignitaries and disciples as a representative role attending the trial.

Until the lawyer Blaquierre took the Tribunal President of Highest Court to step out of court to observe, they could see only 20 Caodaism persons wearing white dress. It made lawyer Blaquierre surprised and embarrassed for accusing wrongly.

The result of Highest Court also decided: “approved the trial as the First Court that the Sacerdotal Council had to destroy the Caodaism Temple”.

The Sacerdotal Council had submitted to petition to the Royal Government for help with a charity, however the result was being waited. Until 14th May 1959, on the sick-bed of Calmete hospital, His Holiness Ho Phap sent a letter to Head of State Norodom Sihanouk and King Surmarit. Concurrently, the Elder brother Bao Dao (Religious Conservator) Ho Tan Khoa sent an ultimatum to Royal Government of Cambodia. The letter was recorded to the Caodaism history in 1958 with content: “If Caodaism Temple was destroyed according to trial, the Elder Brother Religious Conservator will volunteer to go on hungry-strike to die with the Temple. This caused many public opinions in Royal Government.

How noble! His Holiness Ho Phap had known that His Holiness Ho Phap would leave the carnal in Cambodia but His Holiness Ho Phap still cared of Caodaism Temple in Cambodia in Phnom Penh in preventing a sentence of destroying Temple. After 17th May 1959, His Holiness Ho Phap had returned the Heaven, the King Norodom Surmarit sent a letter to invite the Caodaism Sacerdotal Council of Cambodia and Exile Dignitary delegation to the Royal Palace.

The King Norodom Surmarit welcomed the Sacerdotal Council delegation on a floor of Royal Palace intensely. The King shaked hands with one by one with a care of health. They were seated on chairs. The King Norodom Surmarit asked news for Elder brother Thai Chanh Phoi Su (Principal Archbishop of Buddhism) Thai Khi Thanh – the last Religious Region of Cambodia because he was very good in Cambodian language. He also guided to the Elder Brother to submitted a petition to the King again for reconsideration for trial so that the King would give an order to the Highest Court: provisionally stop carrying out order of Highest Court.

The next, the King asked Elder Brother Religious Conservator Ho Tan Khoa by French about life of dignitary belonging exile delegation in Cambodia.

The King Surmarit also asked the Archivist Le Quang Tan: when have you lead a religious life but you are too young? On occasion of replying, the Archivist Tan stated his petition to the King with a charity to abolish a trial in documentary of First Court toward the Archivist Le Quang Tan with three-month sentence in 1957 entering the Cambodia illegally because a religious with a three-month sentence was very painful. The King taught: “make a petition to the King to petition to be abolished for three- month sentence so that the King will send an order to the Highest Court to judge again”.

How respectable! After three months of sending a letter to the King, end of 1959, He was invited for judgment of First Court. The Court abolished the sentence in 1957 although the Archivist Tan had done porridge of three-month sentence. However, when opening documentary, it was written “no detail of law-suit”.

A divine mystery appeared in France after His Holiness Ho Phap Pham Cong Tac returned to Heaven on 17th May 1959 in Phnom Penh, the female medium Sarah Bartel recorded: “The Voice in Space has been pressed by Le Lien newspaper on June 1959 reporting clearly that everybody on over the world knows clearly that His Holiness was shrouded in sitting position in Lotus Throne (Shrouded in sitting position in an Octagonal coffin, 8 angles) on 22pm of 17th May 1959 with attendance of Chief of Police of District 5, Phnom Penh Capital and male and female dignitaries, disciples belonging Religious Region of Cambodia”.

The anxious worry of dignitaries and disciples was that nobody of Sacerdotal Council knew ceremonials of funeral for His Holiness Ho Phap’s return to Heaven.

The Elder Brother Religious Conservator Ho Tan Khoa and Archivist Bui Quang Cao immediately celebrated a séance to invite His Holiness Ho Phap to guide ceremonials of “making offerings” when the carnal body was not shrouded. His Holiness Ho Phap descended in the séance to teach detail of funeral with a poem:

Living in other place for three years lasting,



Exchanging merry time by the body.

Unexpected, everything has been determined by GOD,

It is enough for seventy years old.

It is a pity for carnal force to overcome,

Being sad to lonely see the knot of Religion.

Who will come to hold the True Doctrine later on,

To beautify the motherland in Religion and Life”. 

Depending on guidance of ceremonials and a poem, the children of chorus and Le Si (Acolyte of ceremony) could know to “declaim slowly” and offerings in the funeral. Beside, the Archivist Bui Quang Cao – a special secretary of His Holiness Ho Phap – a Dignitary of Palace of Divine Alliance in exile delegation – an expert of filming and making photo of exile delegation could created many pictures in funeral of His Holiness Ho Phap. One film roll created by the Archivist for other Religions, Foreign Affair Delegation of Phnom Penh Capital and Cambodia Buddhism delegation coming to put a flower garland to part forever for His Holiness Ho Phap entering the Precious Tower is an invaluable keepsake for disciple in Holy Land of Tay Ninh Holy See who could not have a honour of contributing to care of His Holiness Ho Phap’s funeral in Phnom Penh.

With Ho Phap mission supremely governing two visible palaces, Palace of Divine Alliance and Palace of Nine Divine Planes, His Holiness Ho Phap did not mind His high age, weak strength to enthusiastically train some male and female excellent dignitaries with full ability and spirit to contribute to all affairs of society charities with other Religions. Especially, they steadfastly kept belief in front of storm of life in order to be faithful to Sacerdotal Council, to be very pious to SUPREME BEING and MOTHER BUDDHA to continue the moral path created by “Venerated Teacher Ho Phap” and elder dignitaries who have sacrificed to outline readily Mercy, Love, and Justice in order to make the Great Way brilliant.

His Holiness Ho Phap returned to Heaven on 17th May 1959 and His Lotus Throne was still in Cambodia until today under absolute respect of Caodaism Sacerdotal Council of Tay Ninh Holy See, dignitaries, disciples according to His last words sent to Mr. Norodom Sihanouk on 14th May 1959.

What a pity! A great man of history had left the earth. The great man was very enthusiastic and dedicated with POCEP. The concord love toward the guideline “Non-violence” of His Holiness Ho Phap made people with different opinion respectful. Even His absolute sacrifice had not been complete to welcome the glorious date of Vietnam, million hearts with same rhythm always remember His merits.

How respectfully! His Holiness Ho Phap is a perspicacious, mysterious and magic saviour of GOD. Therefore, He had initiated the POCEP bravely on 26 March 1956 to save humankind in avoiding the mutual kill. His Holiness Ho Phap also knew clearly that two blocs of Communism and Capitalism on this earth was due to the GOD’s will that we could not avoid the conflict for international dominator power, fight of brothers leading to miserable situation.

Although His Holiness Ho Phap – Caodaism Leader could know the civil war, which was going to begin, he could not do any thing to change the divine mechanism. That was the worry in His heart. His Holiness Ho Phap had to enter the “Meditation Hall” in Wisdom Palace to take meditation on 16 January Tan Mao year (1951) in order to petition to the GOD to give a favour for Vietnamese race in order to escape out of imposed actions of foreign countries. His Holiness Ho Phap entreated President Ho Chi Minh and President Ngo Dinh Diem in discarding hates but there was no change for that situation because of destiny determined.

His Holiness Ho Phap was in the Meditation Hall – Wisdom Palace for 3 months in dormant area to petition to the GOD to bless divine mystery in order to convert two blocs of Capitalism and Communism understanding soon that they were brothers of same father named GOD.

His Holiness Ho Phap’s teaching converted over millions of Caodaism disciples. He handed over a suffuse passion to humankind with an aeon “glory”. That is the glory of “SAVIOUR”.

His Holiness did not hesitated to endure the disgraces and miseries in order to teach humankind to know the error of division that the humankind should not discriminate the color skin, they should love mutually.

The 17th May 1959 was a sorrowful day for Caodaism disciples in country and overseas, a ceremonial day recorded in the Oriental history under a profound remembrance of Vietnam praising “brilliant example without carnal dust” to represent the National Soul and National Essence with “National Religion” in mercy, love, justice. That tempered the patriotic passion in Vietnamese hearts.

His Holiness Ho Phap could know clearly that the detail of international war would happen naturally and determinedly without method to avoid it. However, His Holiness Ho Phap had a divine mission to show and guide the path for oppressed people from the disharmony and discontent into the union.

What an honour! How worshipful! The great man completely sacrificed his life for POCEP and solemnly confirmed with Head of State Norodom Sihanouk: “My purpose of life”.

The His Holiness Ho Phap’s date 17th May 1959 of return to Heaven coincided with the ceremonial date of Saint descending belonging Catholicism (Pentecote), therefore His Holiness Ho Phap used the divine mystery telling the female Medium Sarah Bartel in France in order to receive and record THE VOICE IN THE SPACE in that way.

The return of His Holiness Ho Phap was not quiet like other returns of human beings. His return was an event of humankind, a funeral ritual of Pascimadharma period.

His Holiness Ho Phap shared the miseries of two-region compatriots of Vietnam by the POCEP. His Holiness Ho Phap gave humankind the peaceful foundation of sweet and cool then, the concord world gradually became real.

The Caodaism disciples can be boundlessly honorable and proud because 35 years ago, on 26th March 1956, His Holiness Ho Phap Pham Cong Tac leading Caodaism had an initiative with a POCEP showing the path for two blocs of Communism and Capitalism in order to yield mutually because of brothers of same GOD.

His Holiness Ho Phap Pham Cong Tac governing Two Visible Palaces – Palace of Divine Alliance and Palace of Nine Planes returned to Heaven on 17th May 1959 in Phnom Penh Capital of Cambodia taking many regrets, respects, worships of three millions of Caodaism disciple who always remember His teachings:

Ban Dao/I/Poor Monk am only afraid that the future teenagers will despise elder people without meritoriousness”.

If there is no acceptance to come to the MASTER’s school in order to obtain the throne, they will never obtain their throne by going to other places”.

Let other people be swanky on the earthly path, we just follow SUPREME BEING, the great work will not be lost. It is sure that whoever is completely loyal to HIM, to the Sacerdotal Council named as HIS body on this earth, will never lose the work and honour”.
