Domestic market: Viettel is the leading enterprise in Vietnam in the telecommunications field. When entering the market, Viettel has contributed to the popularization of mobile phones in Vietnam. Next, Viettel created a boom in broadband Internet thanks to 4G coverage to 97% of the population. As of July 2020, Viettel became the largest operator in Vietnam with 65 million mobile subscribers, accounting for 46,7% of the market share (of which 45 million data subscribers) and 5.8 million fiber-optic Internet subscribers, accounting for 41,5% market share.
