7.5 Thermal Printer
Allows you to quickly get your results on paper by using the built-in thermal printer.
7.6 Rotary Encoder with Push-Button
Use the Rotary Encoder and the Push-Button for manual measurements
7.7 Safe Indicator
Green Light on System is in safe mode. Ready for handling test leads and connections.
Red Light on Unsafe mode! Do not remove any cables, there is current flowing and voltage on the
test leads!
7.8 LCD Display with Touch Panel
The instrument can be easily fully controlled by the touch screen panel. If preferred, an external
mouse or keyboard can be connected to the USB Port to control the system.
7.9 Safety Ground
Use this terminal to ground the CT under test.
7.10 X-Current and Sense Receptacles
Use the appropriate X-cable to connect the secondary terminals of the CT under test with the X-
Current and Sense receptacles.
7.11 H-Sense Receptacle
Use the appropriate H-cable to connect the primary terminals of the CT under test with the H-
Sense receptacles.
7.12 Emergency Stop
Press the Emergency Stop to immediately interrupt the measurement and disconnect the output
voltage from the X-Current receptable.
Turn clockwise to release. The device will remain in a safe mode state.

Potentially deadly voltage is present on the test leads! Do not touch them or
the CT under test in any case. Use the Emergency Switch to immediately
deactivate the output voltage

Always ground the CT under test with the included Safety Ground cable to
prevent dangerous voltage on the case of the CT under test.

8. Operation Menu
The instrument software is user friendly and easy to set up and operate. With a few key and
selections on the test screen, measurements can be started (see Chapter Error: Reference source
not found. Error: Reference source not found on page Error: Reference source not found).
