 8.3.6. Voltage Transformer Turns Ratio
For voltage transformer turns ratio measuring, first setup the connection based on chapter 6.7 then
follow the steps below:
In the main screen select only X1-X2 
winding.
Be sure that Manual mode is not checked. 
Select "TR" for only Turns Ratio 
measurement.
Then you can press Info button to enter 
voltage transformer information.
In the 'Rated Current' screen you can enter
the voltage transformer primary to 
secondary nominal turns ratio so the turns 
ratio error can be calculated. For this enter 
'1' for the secondary and enter the nominal 
VT turns ratio in X1-X2. 
For example if the nominal voltages of a 
voltage transformer are 33kV/110V then 
you have to enter the calculated ratio which
is 300 (33000/110=330).
Press OK button.
In the main screen press and hold Start
button to measure the turns ratio.

8.4 Data Observation
The results of the actual CT under test can be displayed by pressing Result .
After pressing Result , the "Excitation 
Curves" for all windings in one combined 
graph can be seen. The windings can be 
selected by using the < and > buttons. 
The curve for the selected winding is 
highlighted in red and the corresponding 
results displayed on the right.
For the "Excitation Values" Press 
Data .The data points for the selected 
windings are listed on the left in a chart.
For the "Turns ratio Results" Press 
DataTR .
For the "Impedance Results" Press 
DataZ .

8.5 Archive
Results can be stored in the Archive and kept for later reference. To copy a measurement into the 
Archive simply press Save in the Result view.
From the Archive, results can be Loaded, 
Deleted, or Exported if a USB key is 
plugged into the CT-T1. A preview of the 
archived result is presented by pressing 
Info . An archived item is set as the active 
profile by pressing Load and new 
measurements can be performed.
If an USB key is plugged in, a CSV file is 
written by pressing Export .
The file can be found in the folder 
RAYTECH/EXPORT on the USB stick.
The preselected results (see Section 8.6
Setup) are included for each measured 
winding along with the raw data or ACT 
values. If the nominal currents for the 
primary and secondary windings are set 
the ratio error is stored as well.
