Be sure to not connect X cable of CT-T1 to secondary winding of a CT with
greater primary winding turns. Energizing these type of CTs from secondary
winding may induce very high voltage in primary winding.
6.7 Ratio measurement setup for voltage transformer VT
In order to use CT-T1 to measure the winding turns ratio of a voltage transformer, the H1 and H2
cables must connected to secondary winding and X1 and X2 cables must connected to primary
winding. Figure 15 shows an example of ratio measurement setup for a voltage transformer.
