6.4 Measurement setup for window type CT
If the CT is window type and there is no primary coil, the H1 or H2 cable can be passed through
the CT window and they need to connect together.
Figure 12 shows a window type CT under test. In order to achieve the best accuracy, the H1 or H2
cable must passes through the CT core from the center position. This issue is more important for
CTs with core which contains airgap. Based on distance from center point of core and air gap, the
measured ratio error differ and might becomes high.

6.5 Measurement setup for multiple-secondary CT
If the CT under test contains two or more secondary windings, each one on a separete core with a
common primary winding, each secondary winding must measured individually. The Figure 13
shows the mesurement setup for a CT with two cores.
It is recommended that diffrent CT name and profile defined for each secondary winding.

6.6 Measurement setup for a CT with greater primary winding turns
In unusual case where the number of primary winding turns of CT is larger than the number of sec-
ondary winding turns, the H1 and H2 cables must connected to secondary winding and X1 and X2
cables must connected to primary winding. Figure 14 depicts an example of measurement setup
for a CT with greater winding turns.
