3.8. Configuring the redundancy protocol for Ethernet

Before configuring the redundancy protocol, define the Ethernet port settings as

described in

Configuring IEC 61850 communication for a single Ethernet

connection

1. In Communication > Protocol configuration > Redundancy Protocol for

Ethernet (at the bottom of the setting view), select the desired redundancy

protocol (PRP or RSTP) from the Redundancy Protocol drop-down menu.

2. Enable the selected redundancy protocol:

To enable PRP: in Communication > PRP > PRP protocol for Ethernet,

select the checkbox for Enable for PRP.
