THE MIRACULOUS PROPHERCIES OF A LIVING BUDDHA NAMED HIS HOLINESS HO PHAP PHAM CONG TAC THAT JUST A FEW PEOPLE KNOW

His Holiness Ho Phap PHAM CONG TAC, the Head of Tay Ninh Holy See CAODAISM was a LIVING BUDDHA that Dignitaries, disciples and Vietnam compatriots always pay honour to His Prophecies taught and guided for CAODAISM SACERDOTAL COUNCIL to overcome all obstacles and examination which have been appeared as the following:

One event was recorded clearly in memory. On the fifteenth of lunar March, Dinh Suu year (26 April 1926), the SUPREME BEING descended down via miraculously automatic apparatus of a séance to nominate Mr. PHAM CONG TAC as HO PHAP position named Ho Gia Tien Dong Ta Co Dao Si. His Holiness LY GIAO TONG also told the origin of His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP:

● ESCORTING SUPREME BEING long since.

● DHARMA of wheel of Divine mechanism.

● SUPREME power in Nirvana to determine position.

● MANAGING the Universe to decide for regions.

● SECOND incarnation in holding creation mechanism in Europe.

● PREDESTINATION in East Asia to hold Heaven Book.

● CARNAL body as Holy Body formed on day.

● PALACE blessing favour, try to reply on.

(Bold words must be understood: two first bold words in Vietnamese poem are HO PHAP. All bold words mean: His Holiness HO PHAP governs two Divine Palaces of Caodaism)

The below poem proves the second incarnation of His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP is the JESUS CHRIST descending to found Catholicism in Europe. His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP is really the JESUST CHRIST in reincarnation, this sows a profound meaning for CAODAISM pious Disciples with strong belief that His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP was a LIVING BUDDHA.

Not only for Disciples but also for three persons, (three Principal Archbishops) Mr. Chanh Phoi Su THAI PHAN THANH, THUONG CHU THANH, NGOC TRANG THANH clearly witnessed and saw hollows of hands and feet of His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP with a image of pink-red Lotus.

A rare friendly party of tea was held at the black of Cho Lon Temple with attendance of His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP, Three Principal Archbishop THAI PHAN THANH, THUONG CHU THANH, NGOC TRANG THANH and many Male and Female Dignitaries and Disciples. While they were talking happily, Mr. THAI PHAN THANH spreaded his hands and said: “You try to watch this hand which was famous and glorious in Ba Ria province once”. When seeing the hand of Mr. THAI PHAN THANH rising highly, His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP said: “such a hand, is it worthy to brag?”. His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP immediately spreaded His hands to let people attending the tea party with gentle speech: “Here are My hands in this way, but I do not brag”. He spreaded and folded, the Dignitary valeting with fan hurriedly held His hand. His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP immediately said: “ Why do you dare to hold My hand?” The Dignitary valeting with a fan respectfully replied: “MASTER, you had just spreaded your hand but you folded up while everyone has not seen”. His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP smiled and answered happily: “Really, young brother!”. He spreaded His hands for Disciples to see a pink-red lotus like a finger in His hollow of hand. This bolstered Caodaism Disciple’s boundless confidence, He is honored as a LIVING BUDDHA.

A boundless miraculous thing happens that Cambodia Compatriots (Phnom Penh) often see His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP appearing. Consequently, Cambodia much believes and honour His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP as a VIETNAM BUDDHA.

After doing ritual His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP, BISHOP THUONG TUY THANH stood at the legs of hammock to state all changes at Tay Ninh Holy See. The Elder Brother BISHOP clearly saw a make of pink-red Lotus in His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s hand hollow proving injuries JESUS CHRIST had been driven before. It appeared in front of Elder Brother BISHOP to contemplate it to prove Disciple’s real rumour that the hollows of hands and feet of His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP with red-pink Lotus.

THAT IS ONE MORE DEPONENT SEEING THE RE-PINK LOTUS IN HOLLOWS OF HANDS AND FEET OF HIS HOLINESS PHAM HO PHAP. THIS PROVES THE VESTIGE OF JESUS CHRIST WHO WAS EVER DRIVEN BEFORE.

In 1957, Mrs. PHAN THI NHON, a National Midwife left the NHON AI (HUMANE) Maternity House in Tay Ninh province, Vietnam according to her husband’s request. That was LE QUANG TAN, Si Tai Hiep Thien Dai (Archivist of Palace of Divine Alliance) living in exile in Phnom Penh. Both of mother and child immediate left VIETNAM to be gathered in Phnom Penh due to His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s blessing because His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP commanded that Archivist TAN had to take wife and child for living in Phnom Penh at a small house.

Everyday, Mrs. PHAN THI NHON tested His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s blood pressure, injected medicine and went with His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP on the way to Phnom Penh Capital to invite Doctor BESIERE to test His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s health because His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP had a hemiplegic without ability to step. Due to that, Mrs. PHAN THI NHON could see the red-pink Lotus appearing at His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s hollow of hands and feet that Mrs. NHON has been related by Elder Brother Archivist TAN for a long time. While waiting for His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s restoration health, Mrs. PHAN THI NHON dared to asked: “MASTER! Why do YOUR two hollows of hands and feet appear the red-pink Lotus like that?” His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP happily answered: “SUCHLIKE”. And then, Mrs. PHAN THI NHON did not dare to ask more because she worried to bother His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP.

Moreover, when living at countryside of Tay Ninh province, Mrs. NHON had been commanded for founding two courses of countryside MIDWIFE to train Caodaism Women so that they could have MIDWIFE Certification for being done toward Caodaism Sacrament of Marriage. Both COUNTRYSIDE MIDWIFE Courses were trained by Mrs. PHAN THI NHON in Tay Ninh under Doctor SUA’s guidance, a Chief of Health Service of Tay Ninh province. Giao Huu (Priest) HUONG TRANH – His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s daughter guided Teacher of Children Chorus of two Midwife courses to Mrs. PHAN THI NHON with her training.

ONE DIVINE MIRACULOUSNESS MADE REVEREND NATHERA TO LEAD THE THAILAND BUDDHISM TO TAY NINH HOLY SEE IN ORDER TO RELATE TO SACERDOTAL COUNCIL THE MYSTERIOUS MIRACULOUSNESS WITNESSED TO CONFIRM THAT HIS HOLINESS HO PHAP PHAM CONG TAC HAD A BOUNDLESS AND SUBLIME SACRET WAVE.

In 1950, Reverend NTHAERA led THAILAND Buddhism to VIETNAM To cure a Nun who was curing at Cho Ray Hospital, Saigon. Before beginning the journey, the Reverend NATHERA had been informed that he would visit His Holiness HO PHAP PHAM CONG TAC, the Head of Caodaism of Tay Ninh Holy See in order to depend on His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s support for Secret Wave for him in curing the Nun.

The Divine miraculousness controlled the Reverend NATHERA to visit His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP with his petition so that he could completed his mission in curing Thailand Nun. He was accepted by His Holiness HO PHAP.

The Reverend NATHERA leading 3,000 Church Reverends of THAILAND Buddhism did not heresitate to depend on His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s support of Secret Wave for REVEREND in curing the Nun at 12pm 28 May 1950. However, His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP was busy in reading religious books and forgot the time of supporting the Secret Wave for the REVEREND doing sacrament. The REVEREND’s Secret Wave made His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP’s body feel uncomfortable to remember the time of curing. His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP supported the Secret Wave strongly, it made two hands of REVEREND tremble and also made the Nun move. Within 15 minutes, the patient restored her health and stood up to thank to Reverend NATHERA profusely. This is the related speech of Reverend NATHERA in the first time of visiting CAODAISM SACERDOTAL COUNCIL.

In 1953, the Reverend NATHERA from THAILAND to VIETNAM visited SACERDOTAL COUNCIL to offer the BUDDHA RELIC and a SNOWBELL as souvenirs between THAILAND Buddhism and Caodaism with a confirmation that His Holiness HO PHAP’s Secret Wave was very strong to made his two hands tremble in time of curing patient. Consequently, Reverend NATHERA respected His Holiness HO PHAP as a Patriarche.

The artist LE MINH TONG was a famous Revolutionary in Bac Lieu province belonging to the West of Southern Region of Vietnam arrested by Authority of French Domination in 1941. Until 9^th March 1945, the Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH (Thuong Vinh Thanh) belonging to Caodaism of Tay Ninh Holy See cooperated with the Japan Military for Volunteer Infiltrator of Delegate Bishop just with string of nipa and sharp bamboo to rope all French Chief Officers governing whole Indochina within one night on 9 March 1945 without using any bullet. A absolutely rare event exerted an influence for admiration on over the world.

The artist LE MINH TONG from Con Dao was given 28 big and small boats by Major VO MINH TA to take Politic Prisoners at Con Son Isle under order of Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH.

Among these Politic Prisoners, there were many Caodaism Dignitaries such as Bishop THUONG SANG THANH, Bishop TRAN VAN QUE, Bishop TRAN THIEN TINH, Student Priest NGOC TUONG THANH. They sat with Communist Revolutionaries LE DUAN, TON DUC THANG, PHAM HUNG from Con Son Isle to Saigon Capital with very solemn welcome. Then, they took leave separately.

How Miraculous for decision of Divine Marvellousness! Mr. LE BA TONG could be free from Con Son prison to go back to get together with family. However, he had a mission assigned by SUPREME BEING for completing the Statue of THREE SAINTS at TINH TAM DAI (Dome of Purification of Heart) that mason created the pattern of THREE SAINTS on the wall in 1941. Now, Sacerdotal Council just waited the artist to draw portrait of His Holiness Trang Trinh NGUYEN BINH KHIEM, NGUYET TAM CHON NHON, TON DAT TIEN only.

In the time of living in prison at CON SON Isle, perhaps the artist LE MINH TONG was asked by His Holiness LY THAI BACH – Giao Tong of Great Way – Third Period – Universal Salvation in advance that it was in time to draw the statue of THREE SAINTS at the Tay Ninh HOLY SEE. Therefore, the artist TONG accompanied with Caodaism Dignitaries to straight to National Affair Service of Tay Ninh Holy See, but not to go back wife and children. His family had to go hard to Tay Ninh to meet after distant time. That is the Divine Marvellousness for arranging artist LE MINH TONG’s wife and children getting a chance to kowtow SUPREME BEING and also to know the origin Soul of LE MINH TONG descending down under a mission of completing the statue of THREE SAINTS to CAODAISM SACERDOTAL COUNCIL.

A strange thing was happening that the wife could meet husband, children could meet their father in reunion to see their father getting vegetarian meals with Mr. Cochinchinese District Chief TRAN VAN TAN, Mr. Cochinchinese District Chief HO TAN KHOA, Mr. Provincial Education Officer NGUYEN BUU TAI, Mr. Professor TRAN VAN QUE, Professor TRAN THIEN TINH, Doctor TRAN VAN VANG, Artist OANH. Especially for each 12am, nobody asked nobody, they worn white dress and turban on head to enter the HOLY SEE to sacrifice to SUPREME BEING while they were advanced in years.

Husband, wife and children met together happily. The Artist LE MINH TONG took his wife and children to Saigon with tender advice: “you go back first, I wait His Holiness HO PHAP coming back Vietnam, then I will go back later”.

The Artist LE MINH TONG felt pleased because of being lived with his experienced Old Friends toward life situation and because he could sacrifice to SUPREME BEING each night to wait time of meeting His Holiness HO PHAP. One day, when walking around Ba Hue Vien (Hundred Flowers Garden), he met Bao The (Temporal Conservator) LE THIEN PHUOC, Mr. LE THIEN PHUOC asked: “ How are you? Do you get used to life as Monk life?” The Artist immediately replied: “I like living at this Holy Land here very much”. Mr. Temporal Conservator continued to ask: “Do you need to meet His Holiness HO PHAP?”. As he knew LE MINH TONG was a famous artist in Bac Lieu just coming from Con Son Isle with Dignitaries who were living at the National Affair Service, therefore he asked that question.

The Artist LE MINH TONG moderately replied: “I have been waiting the call of His Holiness HO PHAP for weeks”.

The Temporal Conservator LE THIEN PHUOC happily replied: “if so, you come with me to meet His Holiness HO PHAP”.

The Artist LE MINH TONG replied: “permit me to go back to change the long dress and turban”. “His Holiness HO PHAP is very lenient not to be finical about that thing and moreover we will meet on the street”- Mr. Temporal Conservator answered.

They were walking and talking on the way to meet His Holiness HO PHAP.

They had just come at the gate of Ho Phap Office, His Holiness HO PHAP saw him in salutation. It seemed that His Holiness has known the Artist LE MINH TONG for long time.

His Holiness HO PHAP asked: “Do you know the Celebrities VICTOR HUGO, TON DAT TIEN, Trang Trinh NGUYEN BINH KHIEM?”

The Artist LE MINH TONG demurred in one minute and replied: “Dear Sir, I know”.

His Holiness HO PHAP immediately asked: “ Do you remember the portrait of Three Saints?”.

After some minutes of thinking, he replied: “I can remember cursorily VICTOR HUGO and TON DAT TIEN on newspaper and Prayers. For the portrait of Trang Trinh NGUYEN BINH KHIEM, I can not remember clearly” (Because NGUYEN BINH KHIEM was born in 15^th century (1494-1582)).

His Holiness HO PHAP told: “Is there any one taking paper for the Artist to draw the portrait of Three Saints?”

An officer took paper and pen for the Artist LE MINH TONG drawing. He was trying to remember portrait of Three Saints within one hour, the Artist LE MINH TONG could finish the photo of THREE SAINTS to submit to His Holiness HO PHAP. It is sure that while the Artist LE MINH TONG was drawing, the support of Divine Wave of His Holiness HO PHAP to complete the photo without amendment.

His Holiness HO PHAP received the photo draft of THREE SAINTS of the Artist LE MINH TONG of happily that His Holiness HO PHAP did not amend anything for the photo THREE SAINTS.

His Holiness HO PHAP concurrently guided the Artist LE MINH TONG to Holy See to consider the dimension of THREE-SAINT photo designed cursorily on the wall.

The Artist LE MINH TONG amorously concentrated by his heart with talent, on the THREE-SAINT photo where Believers always go there to contemplate.

The Sacerdotal Council and His Holiness HO PHAP were very pleased for photo drawn by the Artist LE MINH TONG in 1946.

The pity happened because the portrait of THREE SAINTS faded due to unprofessional artists re-drawing many times. It has been lost its art beauty under the Artist LE MINH TONG’s infinitive form.

There was a friendly meal of His Holiness HO PHAP held very solemnly for the Artist LE MINH TONG and other gentlemen at the National Affair Service.

The Artist LE MINH TONG descended the earth in the Third Period of Great Way to display a spirit of a true Revolutionary of a Nation of a patriot. Therefore, his funeral ceremony was held at private home at107 Nguyen Bieu Street, District 5, HCM City attended by Dignitaries and Disciples from Saigon Temple with a solemn ceremony according to GREAT WAY Caodaism rite. People wondered that what position he had in Caodaism that Caodaism Disciples attended in his ceremony in thoughtful and solemn rite.

According the order of SUPREME BEING, soul of LE MINH TONG descended down to display an example of true Revolutionary in Patriotism and to be kept in prison in 5 years at the Con Son Isle. After that, he went back at the National Affair Service wait for time of meeting His Holiness HO PHAP with order of drawing statue of THREE SAINTS. This is a Divine SECRET DHARMA that SUPREME BEING has given to CAODAISM SACERDOTAL COUNCIL of Tay Ninh Holy See.

A RARE MYSTERIOUSNESS HAPPENING THAT ONE PROFESSOR DOCTOR OF SOUTHERN AMERICA PETITIONED HIS HOLINESS PHAM HO PHAP FOR A BAPTISM OF EXPIATION AT THE HOLY SEE.

Under the regime of President NGO DINH DIEM, there was a professor belonging Southern America who was very fluent in Vietnamese, going to Tay Ninh Holy See to borrow Caodaism Prayers for his research. He red one by one. One day, the Professor Doctor petitioned to the SACERDOTAL COUNCIL for acceptance to do a Baptism of Expiation for him. Tiep Phap TRUONG VAN TRANG (Juridical Legislator) took him to the Holy See.

After that sacrament, the Doctor petitioned to the JURIDICAL LEGISLATOR to give him a favour for expressing thanks to Dignitaries and Disciples being present at the Baptism of Expiation: “I would like to relate that while I was received the Sacrament, I met the SUPREME BEING descending here that Dignitaries and Disciples did not see. When the SUPREME BEING descended, the Aureole illuminated whole HOLY SEE. I surely assert that the SUPREME BEING is seated here but elsewhere”. Moreover, the Professor Doctor also showed his PYRAMID badge of his Religion with an image of HOLY EYE on the top of PYRAMID. After that, the Professor Doctor petitioned to the SACERDOTAL COUNCIL a Caodaism position. The SACERDOTAL COUNCIL gave a special privilege to him with religious dress as Hien Tai (Gentle and Talented Dignitary).

Leaving Holy Land of Tay Ninh Caodaism to Saigon, the Professor Doctor often went to TIN NGHIA vegetarian shop in Religious Dress. Many people queried for a strange foreign person.

One day, Dau Su (Cardinal) THUONG SANG THANH, Khai Dao (Religious Reformer) PHAM TAN DAI, Khai Phap (Juridical Reformer) TRAN DUY NGHIA had vegetarian meal at the TIN NGHIA shop and immediately asked the Professor Doctor: “why do you wear the religious dress anywhere you go?” The Professor Doctor Hien Tai (Caodaism Dignitary –Gentle and Talented Man) stood up and moderately replied that: “My finance is supernumerary to buy any dress, but this Religious dress conferred by SACERDOTAL COUNCIL belongs to the Tao of SUPREME BEING granting me. I do not have enough money to be able to buy this Religious dress. I highly appreciate it, therefore I always want to wear it. When I return my country, I will always wear this Hien Tai Religious dress”.

A VERY MARVELLOUS THING FOR DAU SU (CARDINAL) THAI THO THANH CREATING THE WORLD WESTERN PARADISE AND INVITING MONKS AND SUPERIOR MONKS, BONZES WITHOUT SUMITTING TO CAODAISM SACEDOTAL COUNCIL. THEREFORE, HIS HOLINESS HO PHAP HAD TO TOOK MALE AND FEMALE DIGNITARIES TO GO THERE TO WITNESS THE REVELATION OF HIS HOLINESS HO PHAP: THE CARDINAL THAI THO THANH STOLE THE MAP OF WORLD WESTERN PARADISE IN THE FIRST TRIP. IF I (POOR MONK) TOOK HIM TO SOME TIMES MORE, HE WOULD PERHAPS STEAL THE MAP OF NGOC HU CUNG (COURT OF SUPREME BEING). TODAY, YOU MUST OBEY ME TO APOLOGY TO MONKS, SUPERIOR MONKS. THEY HAVE COME ALREADY, YOU GIVE THEM TRAVELLING EXPENSE FOR RETURN AND YOU ALSO WRITE A DENIAL LETTER TO DELAY GREAT CEREMONY.

The Cardinal THAI THO THANH respectfully replied: “You do not let me hold the Fist Flag. Do I hold the Second one to pick the ashes up?”.

His Holiness HO PHAP immediately elucidated: “Do you hear, Eldest Sister? Do Three PRINCIPAL ARCHBISHOPS hear? If I took him to return some times, he would perhaps steal the Map of SUPREME BEING COURT. Today, you must obey Me that you must apology to MONKS, SUPERIOR MONKS, BONZES with travelling expenses for return. You concurrently write a denial letter do delay the Great Assembly and inform it later”.

There was a clearer issue that the Cardinal THAI THO THANH created his Statue made by Marble stone bought and taken from CHINA. After one week, the Cardinal THAI THO THANH became continuously sick.

His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP heard that news and explained that the Spirit of Cardinal THAI THO THANH has joined into the Statue. Therefore, His Holiness HO PHAP taught to burry the Statue. After burring the Statue, the Cardinal THAI THO THANH recovered his health. For that reason, he understood thoroughly how His Holiness HO PHAP’s power and mystery are, he also petitioned to excuse his mistake bothering the SACERDOTAL COUNCIL in that way.

A clear memory in 1941, while guiding busily Labours in building the HOLY SEE, His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP was informed a Secret News by His close friend going from Saigon to Tay Ninh hurriedly, who was working with Him at the Customs Service that the Government of French Colony would arrest His Holiness HO PHAP on recent day to prevent future worry happening. This close friend advised His Holiness very much to hide a short time and to go back to serve the Tao after the difficulty. However, His Holiness denied steadfastly to leave His SACERDOTAL COUNCIL and beloved DISCIPLES staying with Him in many years because His Holiness had obeyed Divine Mission from SUPREME BEING that He would always serve SACERDOTAL COUNCIL and DISCIPLES in spite of living or dying to fulfill affection and gratitude of MASTER AND STUDENT in building the HOLY SEE soon. After persuading unsuccessfully, this man went back Saigon to continue his normal life. His Holiness PHAM HO PHAP has known thoroughly the policy of French Connolly Government with campaign of destroying Caodai Religion. The first target was to extirpate His Holiness HO PHAP and to arrest all His close Dignitaries.

The time passed quickly. His Holiness HO PHAP chose Eldest Brother Bishop THAI KHI THANH to be on behalf of Him when His Holiness HO PHAP was absent. Among Dignitaries of SACERDOTAL COUNCIL of Cuu Trung Dai (Palace of Nine Divine Planes), Hiep Thien Dai (Palace of Divine Alliance), Phuoc Thien (Charity Service), there were many Dignitaries who were more talented and moral than ELDEST BROTHER. As His Holiness HO PHAP could know that French Government would gradually arrest all close Dignitaries, He chose Eldest Brother Bishop THAI KHI THANH with CHINESE nationality on behalf of Him because His Holiness predicted that Eldest Brother Bishop THAI KHI THANH would have a duty to welcome the Allied Delegation toward foremost President TUONG GIOI THANH, a significant person of future ALLIED DELEGATION.

Moreover, Eldest Brother Bishop THAI KHI THANH was friendly acquainted with President TUONG GIOI THACH.

The Prediction of His Holiness HO PHAP PHAM CONG TAC happened correctly. In 1946, the French Troop took advantage of occupied situation at VIETNAM by the Allied Troop governed by United Kingdom Military Officer, the French Troop attacked and occupied Tay Ninh province. The sound of guns made Disciples at Holy Land of Tay Ninh Holy See worried. The attack killed two Caodaism Disciples and made some disciples injured.

Facing on violent attacks of French Troop, it made Disciples afraid to run into inner Holy See to seek shelter fully. For this reason, the Eldest Brother THAI KHI THANH and Si Tai (Archivist) NGUYEN HUOT HAI appeared with one CAODAISM Flag and one CHINESE Flag hung at the door of Institute of Conciliation of inner Holy See. Disciples did not understand what purpose the Eldest Brother Bishop THAI KHI THANH and Archivist NGUYEN HUOT HAI hung the flags. Those Flags were very useful because the gun sounds did not appear loudly any more into the inner Holy See. There were just some light and sparse sounds, this made Disciples believe in Divine Mystery protecting Disciples out of killing accident.

At that time, a JEEP car of French Troop came to the door of Institute of Conciliation while the Bishop THAI KHI THANH and the Archivist NGUYEN HUOT HAI were waiting there.

The JEEP car stopped at the door of Institute of Conciliation, one French Officer came out and shaked hands with the Bishop THAI KHI THANH and the Archivist NGUYEN HUOT HAI with a question: “Who is owner of Caodaism here?” The Eldest Brother THAI KHI THANH immediately answered: “ I am a Bishop THAI KHI THANH as an owner of Caodaism here”. The Eldest Brother Bishop THAI KHI THANH replied moderately: “The Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH is staying in Saigon, how can I invite to return Tay Ninh?”

According to Royal Ritual, the MADAM QUEEN MOTHER of Reverend Chief of state BAO DAI requested the Royal Ritual Department from Hue to Tay Ninh Holy See to offer 10,000 Dong to CAODAI SACERDOTAL COUNCIL and petitioned to be adopted Caodaism.

The Interim NGOC CHANH PHOI SU (Interim Bishop of Saint Doctrine) immediately requested the Institute of Finance to receive that money and issue the Certificate of Merit as the normal procedure.

The Institute of Ritual issued the Certificate of Admission to Caodaism, however MADAM QUEEN MOTHER only received the CERTIFICATE OF MERIT. She did not dare to receive the Certificate of Admission to Caodaism because She has not sworn to Caodaism. This is a lesson for Institute of Ritual of Tay Ninh Holy See about forgetting regulation toward new Disciple of Caodaism.

Why did the MADAM QUEEN MOTHER have to request the Royal Ritual Service to go to Hue Temple in order meet the Gentle Brother Giao Huu (Priest) THUONG DOAI THANH? The Chief of Religious Province of Thua Thien Hue told that it was replied on the Ritual Service submitted to Madam to assign date and time so that they would go right to Royal Palace to set up a ritual of adoption to Caodaism for Madam. As they respected Her very much, they forgot Caodaism Rule that the concerned person had to go to Temple or Private House with an Altar adoring DIVINE EYE to be sworn in front of the Divine Altar.

The MADAM QUEEN MOTHER was very prudent before adopting to Caodaism. She wrote a letter to inform Her Child as an Old Chief of State BAO DAI to get his idea. The Chief of State BAO DAI called his Prince BAO LONG to read the letter of Grandmother. The CHIEF OF STATE and BAO LONG also agreed happily that issue. This is same to the event happening that CHIEF OF STATE had replied on His Holiness HO PHAP as a Consultant.

A thing was worthily recorded that She respected CAODAISM SACERDOTAL COUNCIL of Tay Ninh Holy See. Therefore, She gave an order to ask the Royal Ritual Service to take care for an Incense Table. When the Chief of Religious Province came, the Ritual Service had to welcome and invited to Royal Palace and informed Her in time so that She could wear Royal Dress to welcome the Chief of Religious Province to Royal Palace.

She kowtowed in front of the Incense Table and invited the Chief of Religious Province to carry the Caodaism ritual toward adopting to Caodaism.

After the oath, she loudly declared: “Today, I am a Caodaism Disciple”. After that, She happily received the Certificate of Admission to Caodaism. One solemn meal was held to entertained the Chief of Religious Province and Delegation.

She with Royal Ritual Service saw Gentle Brother Bishop as a Chief of Religious Province and Delegation out right to the car to go back Temple.

IN THE SPRING OF AT MUI YEAR (1955), THE HIS HOLINESS HO PHAP GOVERNING TWO VISIBLE PALACES AS THE TIPTOP GOVERNOR OF CAODAISM GAVE A LETTER IN NEW YEAR FESTIVAL: “I (MASTER) PRAYE TO SUPREME BEING TO BLESS FOR ALL DISCIPLES AND SOLDIERS WITH A NEW YEAR UNDER PROMOTION OF RELIGIOUS CONDUCT, UNDER GOOD HEALTH, PROSPEROUS LIFE TO SERVE HUMANKIND OF GREAT WAY. I PRAY THAT SOLDIER DISCIPLES DIED MAY BE GONE BEYOND THE CYCLE OF DEATH AND REBIRTH WITH ENJOYMENT AT THE PARADISE”.

However, in order to fulfill your Mission assigned by SUPREME BEING, you must fight to protect the existence of VIETNAM Race to fight the Demon King, Satan of this epoch, which are trying to destroy the Race of VIETNAM to destroy the GREAT WAY. Thus, I want to recommend world situations to you.

I remind that you must love and help Compatriots of Southern and Northern regions. You living here are still luckier because Viet Minh has been still weak for 80 years. They have still behaved to you kindly. For Northern region, the Chinese Communist policy was carried out in VIETNAM in behaving to compatriots cruelly.

The citizens in a country must behave as brothers and sisters in same roof. You must take care of living and working in peace and also sharing rice and clothes for your Compatriots. The Caodaism Disciple is very touched when seeing Fellow Friends falling seriously.

What a pity! How sad! The LOVE law and JUST and RIGHT of SUPREME BEING given to HIS children on this earth by SUPREME BEING are very mysterious and marvelous:

The Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH was forced in paying blood debt by Souls of victim and injustice, however His Holiness HO PHAP petitioned to delay so that the crime repented his sins. The Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH borrowed blood debt, he would pay surely the blood debt. In a murder, the Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH died at the NATIONAL AFFAIR SERVICE of Inner Tay Ninh Holy See by a Landmine flying from a window. While he was governing the Caodaism Troop, Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH sternly punished his young brothers with contrary opinion, murdered many Officers to consolidate his position such as:

- The dubious death of Colonel VO BA, Chief of staff of Caodaism Troop.

- The dubious death of Lieutenant-Colonel NGUYEN HOANG CUU in operating at the foot of BA DEN mountain.

- The dubious death of Colonel HO HAN SON on the way from Tay Ninh to Saigon City.

Tossing in continuous nights without any sleep due to souls of victim of injustice appearing to reclaim the debt is a boundless misery of life of old age. However, replying favour of Honored Teacher HO PHAP PHAM CONG TAC petitioning toward delaying for paying blood debts, THANH could have enough time to Chant prayers to repent his sins caused.

There was a quaint thing that when keeping position of Inspector of Religious Politics, the Lieutenant-General THANH did not like Caodaism BRANCHES coming to attend the Great Meeting of Union Caodaism at Tay Ninh Holy See. At midnight after offering ceremony to SUPREME BEING at the Holy See, the Representatives of Caodaism Branches were eating vegetarian gruel friendly under Great Sister Female Principal Archbishop HUONG HIEU’s banquet at the Female Archbishop Office, a loud sound of exploding ended the life of Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH.

After 5 minutes, exact news toward the Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH was killed by a mine flying from a window to end the enemy work of Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH.

Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH was killed with attendance of Representatives of Caodaism Branches coming to Holy See to attend the Great Meeting of Union Caodaism Branches when they were eating gruel at the Female Archbishop Office. How whimsical for life! “what we dislike will happen to us” because SUPREME BEING has ever taught: “If no ability of loving, must not hate each other!” Therefore, in the morning of death of Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH, the Thua Su (Commissary of Justice) LE QUANG TAN invited Representatives of Caodaism Branches to say goodbye to Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH when this corpse was not shrouded yet in order to commemorate the date of Opening of Great Meeting of UNION CAODAISM Branches that Southern Government was very afraid of Union of Caodaism.

How mournful for Lieutenant-General NGUYEN VAN THANH! He knew his death in advance because he had been called by His Holiness HO PHAP with teaching: “you must not leave the inner Holy See”. However, everything is replied on God’s hands.

That is a retribution in front of our life that Pious Caodaism Disciples always remember. The Sacerdotal Council has lost a child contributing much to the GREAT WAY.

The Union Caodaism Troop developing strongly was due to the favour of Venerated Teacher PHAM HO PHAP guiding with His great pains. However, the Major-General TRINH MINH THE misunderstood his politics ability to enter the life. Actually, he was still weak for Politics. He defied his TEACHER with instruction, named Ho Phap PHAM CONG TAC looking after him in order to lead the Union Caodaism Troop to cooperate with President NGO DINH DIEM under His Holiness HO PHAP’s warning: “I can not witness your death”. His Holiness HO PHAP did not attend celebration of Union Caodaism Troop cooperating with the National Troop.

The Major-General TRINH MINH THE defied his TEACHER’s order and betrayed Friends to lead the Union Caodaism Troop to mop up Binh Xuyen Troop at the slope of bridge Tan Thuan, then left Ben Thanh Saigon to reside at Sat forest then he was shot secretly at the slope of bridge Tan Thuan when he was operating.

Did he obey the seduced and honeyed speech of Colonel LANSDALLE and Consultant of President NGO DINH NHU that they would set up readily a position of future Prime Minister for Major-General TRINH MINH THE. Therefore, the Major-General THE became a stool and a chess for NGO DINH DIEM regime so that he received a mournful death like that? That proves clearly that a STUDENT betrays a TEACHER to help the generation understand thoroughly: “Rotten fish due to no salt, children protesting parents will be spoilt in hundreds of way”. In 1955, the Major-General TRINH MINH THE ordered his inferior to stop and to arrest Archbishop THUONG VINH THANH (Tran Quang Vinh), to burn the car with Simca mark and to take TRAN QUANG VINH to BA DEN mountain to intern with a Death Sentence happening as the plan of Lieutenant-General NGUYEN THANH PHUONG pulling a string behind that the Major-General TRINH MINH THE purposefully carried out not to let Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH reply on Caodaism Troop to take a part in politics as he has ever done as Chief of Defense Department of Prime Minister NGUYEN VAN TAM.  

          His Holiness PHAM HO PHAM knew bad news, He ordered the Major-General TRINH MINH THE to have to immediately release TRAN QUANG VINH.  

          TRINH MINH THE had a daring and inhumane behavior that the Major-General TRINH MINH THE distributed leaflet of sentencing TRAN QUANG VING heavily. Now, he was forced to release TRAN QUANG VINH immediately, this impacted on the prestige of famous Leader on the Ba Den mountain. Therefore, there was no method, the Major-General TRINH MINH THE petitioned His Holiness HO PHAP to ask the Dignitaries of Palace of Divine Alliance to go to Ba Den mountain with “Counter-Investigation” toward the death sentence of TRAN QUANG VINH. Under His Holiness HO PHAP’s acceptance, the Major-General THE ordered the Major DON to welcome the Dignitaries of Palace of Divine Alliance by a Union Battalion. The Commissary of Justice PHAN HUU PHUOC and Si Tai (Archivist) LE QUANG TAN assigned by His Holiness HO PHAP went to the Commander Department of Union Caodaism Troop to take the oral deposition of Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH.  

          In order to avoid the attention of French Government in Tay Ninh province, the Chief of Holy Protector Lieutenant-Colonel PHAM NGOC TRAN operated a Squad to escort the Commissary of Justice PHAN HUU PHUOC and the Archivist LE QUANG TAN from the Gate of Institute Conciliation of Inner Tay Ninh Holy See to the foot of Ba Den mountain then to hand over to the Major DON belonging the Union Caodaism Troop to take two Dignitaries to the Commander Department at Ba Den mountain peacefully.  

          Under warm welcome of Major-General TRINH MINH THE at the Commander Department of Union Caodaism Troop, the Commissary of Justice PHUOC and Archivist TAN took a rest to wait Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH.  

          In the next day, according to the first assignment, the Archivist TAN and Lieutenant TRAN VAN THUONG, the Attaché of Major-General TRINH MINH THE went to a very firm cavern which was the shelter place of Major-General THE each time of mopping up and dropping bomb of French Troop. After 10 minutes of order for taking Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH to hand over to the Lieutenant THUONG into the stone cavern to meet the Archivist TAN for oral deposition.  

          How pitiful for Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH enduring the forest fever for many months with a thin and pale face! Pitifully, he has not ever met the Major-General THE. The Archivist TAN immediately the oral deposition of Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH by writing question on paper and Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH also answered by writing on paper without speaking way because the Major-General THE had set up tape-recorder at table. The Archivist wrote by shorthand letters that a few people could read and understand to ovoid being stopped by staff of Major-General THE to take it on the way to Holy See without knowledge for shorthand letters.  

          Due to that way, the information of Counter-Investigation was taken to Holy See to submit to His Holiness perfectly.  

          After getting the oral deposition of Counter-Investigation, the Archivist TAN and the Lieutenant THUONG went back the Commander Department to meet the Commissary of Justice PHAN HUU PHUOC to discuss in order to say goodbye to the Major-General TRINH MINH THE for going back Holy See to reply the situation to His Holiness HO PHAP.  

          After reading the report of “counter-investigation” of Death Sentence for TRAN QUANG VINH, His Holiness HO PHAP immediately ordered to buy ARALENE medicine of treating the forest fever and a bottle of RHUM wine sent to Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH to use to wait the sentenced date of Court.  

          The Major-General TRINH MINH THE summoned a sentenced trial for TRAN QUANG VINH solemnly at the foot of Ba Den mountain. A rare event happening that Bao Dao HO TAN KHOA (Religious Conservator), a the Dignitary belonging Twelve Zodiacal Dignitaries of Palace of Divine Alliance was present at the Trial as Counsel for Mr. TRAN QUANG VINH. Over two thousands of distant compatriots attended to hear the declaration of TRIBUNAL PRESIDENT Colonel TRUONG LUONG THIEN: “TRAN QUANG VINH is cleared from a charge and released”. The compatriots dispersed happily to leave the foot of Ba Den mountain.

          According to the call of older brothers, a young fellow left the countryside of Rach Gia province to go to Holy Land of Tay Ninh Holy See in chanting prayers everyday.  

          Under the guidance of the Chief of Religious Province , he went to Saigon to join the Infiltrator Insurgent Troop of Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH. He recently went to NITINAN line where was a place of assembly of many young people with same rank managing around the wood vessels created splendidly by Caodaism youths, he felt crazy about it and he respectfully talked to the Gentle Brother-Chief of Religious Province to be joined because NGUYEN THANH PHUONG knew well about woodwork and he could see ten of complete vessels arranged in order in Wood Factory under professional Dignitaries undertaken.  

          NGUYEN THANH PHUONG was nominated by Gentle Brother, Chief of Religious province. He handled directly the wood factory. Due to Endeavour and interest in profession, NGUYEN THANH PHUONG was deigned and elected as a team leader of 24^th team taking care and handling 12 skilled youths with two times of one day to saw and shave trees cut into sections with determined dimension of a marine vessel dimension that we could see they on the river.  

          In daytime, he took care doing merit of building wood vessels for Japanese Troop. At night, he practiced military movements of a future soldier undertaken Japanese Trainer.  

          One year rapidly passed with profession of building vessel and of learning Military affair in the Infiltrator Insurgent Troop. The Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH with JAPANESE Officer sometimes visited the Wood Factory to encourage the spirit of youths doing merit. Especially, they revealed to brothers of factory about their enforcement mission to Japanese Troop in staging a coup against the FRANCE to recover VIETNAM independence out of French Administration.

His most interesting was guided to join the séance by the Gentle Brother-Chief of Religious Province that Great Brothers often celebrated séance to learn and know the future situation of VIETNAM under deficiency and misery of building vessel daily. The foremost thing was the heath in shouldering all “missions” assigned by superior Dignitaries.

In spite of no monthly fee, the life was very prosperous because the native Dignitaries provided foods daily fully.

Ever month, the members of Infiltrator Insurgent Troop could see the world situation. That was a great encouragement of a Religious volunteering to offer his merit to wait the day of recovering independence of VIETNAM.

Through two years with a responsibility of a Team Leader at the NITINAN factory, the fellow NGUYEN THANH PHUONG progressed and promoted to a Army Officer of INFILTRATOR INSURGENT TROOP belonging the Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH. NGUYEN THANH PHUONG with his fortune awaked soon toward the venture life with Brother Dignitaries so that we could have a spiritually firm perseverance to serve VIETNAM Motherland. Just a few people such as NGUYEN THANH PHUONG obtaining the awareness. This is due to the Divine Power of SUPREME BEING’ will.

Everything would happen naturally even it happened late. The date of staging a coup against the France was on time. At night, 9^th March 1945, the Soldiers of INFILTRATOR INSURGENT TROOP with white battledress, with Calot on head and nulgar bamboo in hands, strings of Nipa with Japanese Troop proudly arrested and roped all Header Officers of France administrating VIETNAM without any bullet.

When seeing the INFILTRATOR INSURGENT TROOP of Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH appearing, the French Officers did not fight against and they accepted to be roped. This is the Divine Mystery helping the INFILTRATOR INSURGENT TROOP.

The triumph using no bullet created a resounding repute for the world that VIETNAM became independent. The Compatriots of Caodaism Disciple on over nation were very happy and the CAODAISM repute was reminded and praised in death ceremonies of Forebears by VIETNAM compatriots.

After the date of staging a coup against the FRANCE, the Army Officer NGUYEN THANH PHUONG was promoted to Sublieutenant raising the patriotic spirit of Caodaism Disciple. Especially, the Assembly with many Parties attending the meeting under tens of thousand Compatriots was very good while the Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH declared loudly: “The Caodaism Disciple has completed responsibility of removing slavish disaster for VIETNAM Race out of FRENCH administration. Now, we like withdraw to return as a pure Caodaism Disciple and kindly hand over the VIETNAM Destiny for all citizens to decide”. The thunderous claps resounded at the garden of Mr. Bishop THUONG VINH THANH.

The great MEETING ended under happy and exciting atmosphere of all citizens.

The next event was that Government Cabinet of TRAN TRONG KIM cam into sight of all National People that there was completely no Caodaism Disciple attending because the Caodaism people have returned to serve the Dharma according to the declaration of Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH.

How sad! How pitiful! The VIETNAM independence was still weak that fights between Parties in nation raised to cause many troubles for Compatriots.

The next event happening was that the Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH was arrested by Viet Minh at BINH DIEN when he was working at Western Provinces of Southern Region of VIETNAM even the Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH had asked permission to the Self-Defense National Organization of Saigon City.

Regardless of Rule of Viet Minh Battlefield with full decision and control, some Politicians of Southern VIETNAM were arrested to the Concentration Camp. Among them, there was the Delegate Bishop TRAN QUANG VINH even he had returned purely to serve the Dharma only.

He was exiled to Ca Mau province, Caodaism Disciples of Ca Mau got news and immediately went back the Tay Ninh Holy See to submit to the SACERDOTAL COUNCIL that the Bishop THUONG VINH THANH was prison in Tan Bang Can Giao, Ca Mau District.

Receiving the bad news, the SACERDOTAL COUNCIL ordered two Battalions stationing at Bu Lu under the Sublieutenant NGUYEN VAN THANH and Sublieutenant NGUYEN THANH PHUONG leading. The Sublieutenant NGUYEN THANH PHUONG assigned some friendly soldiers going to Ca Mau secretly to cooperate the native Disciples in order to find method of releasing the Bishop THUONG VINH THANH.

One clear memory of 14 May Tan Ty year (4^th June 1941), the FRENCH Investigators entered the Inner Holy See to arrest His Holiness Ho Phap PHAM CONG TAC then to take to GIRINH (Central part of VIETNAM). On 17 June Tan Ty year (11^th July 1941), FRENCH Investigators suddenly broke into the Inner Holy See second time to arrest Great Brother Khai Phap TRAN DUY NGHIA (Juridical Reformer), the Quyen Thai Chanh Phoi Su THAI PHAN THANH (Interim Principal Archbishop of Buddhism Branch), Quyen Ngoc Chanh Phoi Su NGOC TRANG THANH (Interim Principal Archbishop of Saint Branch), Bishop THAI GAM THANH, Si Tai DO QUANG HIEN (Archivist) then to take to Saigon and confined. Until 27^th July 1941, Five Great and Friendly Dignitaries of PHAM HO PHAP could meet His Holiness HO PHAP on the way to seaway vessel at the Nha Rong port with 12 Political Prisoners to increase 18 Political Prisoners. They were taken to MADAGASCAR in Africa. After many days on the sea, 18 Political Prisoners were taken to COMORES prison belonging Northern MADAGASCAR and they met 11 VIETNAM Political Prisoners. Totally, there were 29 persons including Communist Party Members accept for NGUYEN THE TRUYEN, NGUYEN THE SONG belonging International Members and 6 Caodaism Dignitaries.

The FRENCH Governor-General of Indochina imperiously declared to the Press Reporters: “Should I have listed them to the Holy Martyr, by the an occasion of a vessel of Station Soldiers Diogo Saury of MADAGASCAR, I send Mr. PHAM CONG TAC and His retinue to reside eternally!” The satirized and haughty speech of French Governor in Indochina obviously revealed the real nature of destroying policy toward Caodai Religion that 6 Dignitaries mentioned were victims.

The daily life of 29 VIETNAM Political Prisoners at the NOAY LEVA COMORRES prison contained the humanity without discrimination about Religion, Party. They just considered together as miserable persons under FRENCH Colony Governor. However, in the dependent prison, their spirits became nervous with discussions about Nation-Communist, but everything ended under an affable concession well.

The world situation changed rapidly. In 1942, this number of Political Prisoners was changed into the South of MADAGASCAR. The Chief of Prison, Major FREYDIER took 27 prisoners (two persons died) on the truck to leave the NOAY LEVA COMORRES from the North to South of MADAGASCAR in six days of daytime and night under fearsomeness. Two trucks carried 27 VIETNAM Political prisons. They had to cross a river by a ferry-boat to coffee and sugar cane plantation of FRECHES then to stop at the VOUTROUZOU prison. The Major PREYDIER ordered 27 Political Prisoners to enter the VOUTROUZOU of Southern MADAGASCAR. The life seemed better than the NOAY LEVA COMORRES prison of Northern MADAGASCAR.

On January of 1943, the Major FREYDIER welcomed the United Kingdom Officer Delegation visiting the Communist Political prison with the friendly welcome of Party Members of Communist within one hour. In addition, 4 Party Members LE GIANG, HOANG HUU NAM, DINH CONG HOAT and NGUYEN VAN NGOC left the VOUTROUZOU prison.

The international situation changed rapidly. The French Governor exiled under the DE GAULLE Leader handing over the MADAGASCAR Isle to UNITED KINDOM Government.

Under the UNITED KINDOM Government, the daily life of 27 VIETNAM prisons became better than FRENCH Government.

Soviet Union drove Germany out LENINGGRAD. After three weeks, one Allied Military Delegation under the Delegation Chief of United Kingdom Officer went to the VOUTROUZOU prison and kindly contacted the Members of Communist such as LE GIANG, HOANG HUU NAM, NGUYEN VAN NGOC, DINH CONG HOAT. The meeting between the Allied Military Troop and 4 Communists at the VOUTROUZOU prison lasted 4 hours with a seminar. The Allied Military Troop went back with 4 Political Prisoners LE GIANG, HOANG HUU NAM, NGUYEN VAN NGOC, DINH CONG HOAT.

Four Communists LE GIANG, HOANG HUU NAM, NGUYEN VAN NGOC, DINH CONG HOAT were taken to learn a Military Course at the Calcutta in India by the Allied Military Troop. These members were taken to the Indochina in September 1944 by the Allied Military Troop, in order to parachute suddenly to the War Zone of Cao Bang province of Northern VIETNAM to contact with the FRENCH Resistance against the Japanese Fascist with a purpose releasing FRENCH Soldiers kept at the war zone of Cao Bang province by the Japanese Troop.

Later on, it was known that the Party Member LE QUANG was assigned as a first Director of People Police of HO CHI MINH Government. It was also said that Mr. LE GIANG was promoted to the French Highest Member of VIETNAM – DEMOCRACY – REPUBLIC.

Among 27 Political Prisoners living at the VOUTROUZOU prison, His Holiness Ho Phap PHAM CONG TAC was an affectionate person because His Holiness HO PHAP had many initiatives helping Compatriots of MADAGASCAR still living backward without knowledge of using the rice motor as used in VIETNAM conveniently. They stopped way of old way used by MADAGASCAR Compatriots.

The MADAGASCAR Compatriots were in drought danger toward dry wells, His Holiness HO PHAP showed the Compatriots with method of taking water from revulet by bamboo culinders joined at mountain side right into their village. They could overcome the drought.

The MADAGASCAR Compatriots had been living the regime of FRENCH Domination and at the moment, the UNITED KINGDOM was administrating. For that reason, the Provisional Government of MADAGASCAR sympathized 23 VIETNAM prisoners in MADAGSCAR very much. They wanted these persons to return VIETNAM soon with their family. Therefore, the Minister of Diplomatic Department of MADAGASCAR used to mention and remind the FRENCH Ambassador at MADAGASCAR to take car of means for 23 Political Prisoners to leave MADAGASCAR as soon as possible.

Until midyear of 1946, there was a FRENCH business vessel arrived at the Military Port DIEGO SAUREZ to take 23 Political Prisoners to VIETNAM.

His Holiness HO PHAP’s sufferings at that time was about His 6 junior Dignitaries exiled at MADAGASCAR in 1941. When going back to VIETNAM, 4 juniors could go back, other Bishop THAI GAM THANH and Archivist DO QUANG HIEN died in strange land with their bone at the MADAGASCAR Isle.

The business vessel taking 23 Political Prisoners just arrived at the Saint Jacques (Nowadays, it is Vung Tau), the FRENCH Government of Cap-Saint-Jacques province went to reach the station to welcome His Holiness HO PHAP for mainland. 22 Political Prisoners were taken to Nha Rong Station of Saigon.

His Holiness HO PHAP took a rest for three days to wait the Saigon airplane to take His Holiness HO PHAP from Vung Tau to Saigon discreetly without information for SACERDOTAL COUNCIL and Disciples. However, the SACERDOTAL COUNCIL got news and immediately appointed some Dignitaries to go to Saigon welcome His Holiness HO PHAP coming back. His Holiness HO PHAP resided provisionally at the Archivist NGUYEN VAN HOI’s house.

The FRENCH Government worried much that Caodaism Disciple would demonstrate against FRANCE when His Holiness went back to Saigon. Therefore, they discreetly took His Holiness HO PHAP to the personal house of Archivist NGUYEN VAN HOI at the Colonee Grimand street (Peaceful Market, Saigon).

Hearing sound of car in front of house, the Dignitaries welcoming His Holiness HO PHAP, appointed by SACERDOTAL COUNCIL ran out to meet His Holiness HO PHAP. TEACHER and STUDENTS embraced each other happily in drops of tear without speaking in touched passion.

His Holiness stayed provisionally at the Archivist NGUYEN VAN HOI’s house to wait the Elephant Voyage (there was only one voyage from Saigon to Tay Ninh celebrated by FRENCH Troop) to go with the FRENCH Troop because on the way from Saigon to Tay Ninh, Viet Minh often stopped and burned cars continuously.

His Holiness HO PHAP went back to Tay Ninh Holy See on 22 June 1946 welcome by Dignitaries and Disciples fully after many distant years. At the Central Temple of Tay Ninh Holy See, seeing compatriots and disciples living under two dangers of FRANCE and Viet Minh with intermediate Caodaism Soldiers made His Holiness very broken-hearted.

However, His Holiness HO PHAP still operated the Religious Administration Mechanism in old way.

The time passed rapidly with immeasurable changes that the Lieutenant-General NGUYEN THANH PHUONG had a great ambition for position of PRIME MINISTER under the honeyed and seduced promise of Prime Minister NGO DINH DIEM and the Consultant NGO DINH NHU that after deposing BAO DAI King, NGUYEN THANH PHUONG would hold the position of PRIME MINISTER.

Therefore, the Lieutenant-General NGUYEN THANH PHUONG was fallen into the plan of Consultant NGO DINH NHU and Doctor TRAN KIM TUYEN (Secret Agent of Prime Minister Palace). They discreetly took the Members of RECOVERING INDEPENDENCE ORGANIZATION demonstrating in deposing the Chief of State BAO DAI. This caused many difficulties for His Holiness HO PHAP.

Plan of deposing successfully, the Lieutenant-General PHUONG was immediately fallen into the trap of NHU and TUYEN asking Polices to surround the villa of Lieutenant-General PHUONG at 113 Yen Do street of Saigon to examine then to seize some illegal cars collected by the Major-General TRINH MINH THE in the attack toward Binh Xuyen Troop at the Y bridge that Binh Xuyen Troop left. At that time, they were attacked suddenly without repulse, they left those cars to go to Sat forest because they did not think the Major-General TRINH MINH THE obeyed NGO DINH DIEM to betray. A bitter lesson for Major-General LE VAN VIEN that he had to run to the Sat forest at his elderly age.

The Lieutenant-General NGUYEN THANH PHUONG was invited for a sentence to keeping illegal cars. He managed with many ways not to be sentenced, Lieutenant-General PHUONG accepted to let everything run without any condition that he did not remind the position of Prime Minister promised by deceptive mouth.

The Lieutenant-General PHUONG denied discreetly until he died at his personal home in Cho Lon.

How pitiful for the death of Lieutenant-General PHUONG! The truck carrying his coffin from Cho Lon to Tay Ninh for burying suddenly burnt. The coffin had to be moved into other truck to Tay Ninh. Another trouble also happened that the truck could not be run to the Inner Holy See because when the Lieutenant-General PHUONG was living, he had a disagreement toward the Government of Tay Ninh Province. The truck could not run into the Inner Holy See to pray according Caodaism Ritual, it had to run directly to the Graveyard to be buried.

Is this the karma that the Lieutenant-General NGUYEN THANH PHUONG obeyed the incited speech of Prime Minister NGO DINH DIEM in taking Caodaism Troop to purge Caodaism Dignitaries of Holy Land at Tay Ninh Holy See in 1935?

There was a smart thing that the Lieutenant-General PHUONG did not dare to command Caodaism Troop to surround HO PHAP OFFICE but he ordered the Major-General LE VAN TAT to do. As the Si Tai (Archivist) LE QUANG TAN obeyed His Holiness HO PHAP to warn that the Lieutenant-General NGUYEN THANH PHUONG could not lead the CAODAISM TROOP to purge, he should let the NATIONAL Troop of Prime Minister NGO DINH DIEM lead TROOP to surround His Holiness HO PHAP because in that way, His Holiness HO PHAP easier coped with being surrounded under treatment of TEACHER-STUDENT sentiment.

The Major-General LE VAN TAT was fouoght against by the Supervisor VO VAN KHUE leading. The Major-General LE VAN TAT scared to withdraw troops discreetly out of Holy Land without shot.

Under the instruction of Lieutenant NGUYEN THANH PHUONG, the Major-General LE VAN TAT took Caodaism Troop to surround the HO PHAP OFFICE to cause a stir to make Disciples in the Holy Land puzzled. This has bequeathed an eternal vestige of bad that the STUDENT betrayed the TEACHER.

It matches with Vietnamese proverb: “Fish without salt becomes rotten, child contradicting parents will be spoilt in all ways”
