Abstract 
STUDY AND DESIGN A INSULATING OIL PURIFICATION SYSTEM FOR 
ULTRA-HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER 
Today, the use of Ultra-High Voltage (UHV) transformers in the transmission 
system and distribution of electricity is growing. In transformer oil has special 
meaning important in transformer as cooling during transformer working. According 
to the technical requirements, the breakdown voltage of oil must be greater than 
70kV, the water content in oil <2ppm, gas content in oil <0.03%. Due to strict 
requirements, in this paper presents the research and design of insulating oil 
purification systeme for UHV transformers. Principle of operation of refineries base 
on the periodic filter, separated the residue by filtration systeme, dissolved air and 
water separation by vacuum systems for heating oil. Advantage of this system 
compared to the existing system on the market: The system works fully automated, 
flexible and reliable operation in industrial environments, can be connected in the 
industrial network communication to measurement, monitoring and remote 
diagnostics.
