The study delivered a hypothesis from the aim of the abstract, which is students enhance their speaking skills through the Communicative Language Teaching approach by participating in lively and relevant conversations. The purpose of the study is to inform readers about the Pamona language, particularly those who are native speakers of the language. By using the Communicative Language Teaching technique, which encourages students to speak and practice the functions of the language they are learning, the research also attempts to improve students' English speaking abilities. The significance of the research lies in its potential to enhance the communicative competence and English proficiency of both educators and learners. The researchers informed the students about the communicative language teaching approach method before starting to teach. The method was applied in the first cycle for 2 weeks. This cycle had three meetings, two for the learning process and one for evaluation. every meeting took 1,5 or two hours of study. The researchers were not only observers but also members of the teaching team in this Classroom Action Research (CAR), also the material consisted of learning material with a particular topic. Only in the third meeting, the researchers could evaluate the progress as a whole. The results of the second cycle above show that the class has achieved the completeness criteria in this cycle, which means 80% of the total number of students must obtain grade values of more than 65. That means the communicative language teaching approach helped the students develop their English speaking skills successfully, as it encouraged them to speak actively in the classroom through conversations as a practice.

The concept of the idea is about the effect of blended learning on the speaking skills of English learners. The idea for the research was inspired by the observation of the problems that English language learners encounter in speaking with fluency and accuracy. The researcher saw that many learners have issues with pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and discourse skills when they speak English. It’s interesting to see if there was a solution to help them enhance their speaking skills through a systematic and effective intervention. This research aims to examine the impact of a blended learning approach on the speaking performance of English language learners. Blended learning is a mix of face-to-face and online instruction that uses various technologies and resources to improve learning outcomes. The research needs to investigate how blended learning can assist learners in developing their speaking skills in terms of fluency, accuracy, complexity, and coherence. For the study, there are some research questions related to the topic: What are the effects of blended learning on the fluency of English language learners’ speaking performance? The objective of this question is to examine the changes in the learners’ speech rate, hesitation, repetition, and self-correction after participating in the blended learning intervention; How does blended learning affect the accuracy of English language learners’ speaking performance? The aim of this question is to measure the differences in the learners’ pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary after taking part in the blended learning intervention that expects to find that blended learning can enhance the learners’ accuracy and decrease their errors and mispronunciations; How does blended learning affect the motivation and attitude of English language learners toward speaking English? This question was given to analyze the changes in the learners’ interest, confidence, and satisfaction after participating in blended learning activities, and hopes to find that blended learning can improve the learners’ motivation and attitude toward speaking English.
