clear visibility distance in column 2. The size of the supplementary plate is matched to the corresponding
sign, e.g. 62.5 mm with 600 mm, 100 mm with 900 mm.

3. The distance shown on the supplementary
plate must always be in yards, to the nearest 10 yards.
Metres must not be used.
