With software release 07.6.03, a new feature called Dynamic VLAN Assignment is supported with Foundry’s 802.1X Port Authentication. Dynamic VLAN Assignment allows network administrators to assign a specific VLAN to an individual’s Windows User Account. When the individual successfully authenticates to the network using 802.1X Port Authentication, they are automatically placed into their respective VLAN.
