Washing your hands often with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap and water helps get rid of the virus in case it gets on your hands.
Keep a distance of at least 1m from the opposite person, especially those who sneeze, cough and show signs of fever. When a person has a respiratory illness, like coronavirus, when they cough or sneeze, they spit out saliva containing the virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the virus.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as your hands have touched many surfaces that could be contaminated with the virus. If you touch your eyes, nose or mouth with dirty hands, the virus can enter your body.
If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention quickly. Tell your doctor if you have ever traveled to China or have been in close contact with someone returning from China and have respiratory symptoms.
