individuals”. Not only in their action but also in economic behaviors, all “Economic people” acted
for their own interests. And it is th at economic interests which led them to do business as well
as other market activities. Thus, A. Smith considered m arket economy to be in accordance with
human nature.
Economic growing model of A. Smith is a market economy one, with its economic rules as:
competition, price, supply and demand, and profit and capital accumulation. This model belongs
to classical models.
In A. Sm ith's economic model, he places much emphasis in exploring inputs of production
process, which are: labor, land and capital.
