| TEAM PRESENTATIONS
INTRODUCTION TO AS (8 teams of 5) TASK: 15-minute presentation + 5-10 minute Q&A TOPIC: Team will scan online media and select any story that they feel illustrates some aspect of the American experience (or at least one version of it). For example, it could be a story about violence and teens, philanthropy, entrepreneurism, immigrant life, Iraq vets, single-parent families, consumerism, unemployment, cost of education, etc. etc. etc. The presentation will recount the original story and give background information on the issue the story illustrates. You will need to give Ms. Hull your story idea the week of April 6. It is recommended that you start scanning media now for good stories. When you have a story you want to use, send the link to Ms. Hull at th.in.hue@gmail.com Should more than 1 team select the same or similar story, the first team to claim it will have rights to it.
