THE SECOND TERM REVISION GRADE 6
I.TENSES : 1.The simple present tense:(Thì hiện tại đơn) a) Trong câu thường có các trạng từ thường diễn (tần suất) như: always, often, usually, sometimes, never, every, today…. (+) Affirmative (Khẳng định)
Ex: I listen to music. She watches televition.. (-) Negative (Phủ định)
Ex: We don’t go to the movie theater. Hải doesn’t stay up late. (?) Interrogative (Nghi vấn)
Ex: Do you do your homework? Does she go to school every day? b) Thì Hiện tại đơn diễn tả một sự thật hiển nhiên, một thói quen lặp đi, lặp lại. 2.The present progressive tense: a) Trong câu thường có: now,at present , at the moment và các động từ : Look! , Listen! (đứng đầu câu)
Ex: I am reading a book now. He isn’t playing volleyball at the moment. Are they going to school? b) Thì Hiện tại tiếp diễn, diễn tả hành động đang xảy rangay lúc ta đang nói. 3. The near future tense (Thì tương lai gần): a) Trong câu thường có: tomorrow, next… , tonight…
Ex: Mai is going to visit her grandmother tomorrow. I am not going to play soccer this afternoon. Are you going to take some photos? b) Thì tương lai gần diễn tả một sự việc sắp xảy ra trong tương lai hoặc một dự định. II. PREPOSITIONS ( Giới từ): IN: + đứng trước mùa, năm, tháng, các buổi trong ngày. Ex: in 2007, in the spring / summer / fall, in the morning / afternoon/ evening (in your/her/his…free time) + đứng trước danh từ chỉ nơi chốn.
+ đứng trước danh từ chỉ nơi chốn. Ex: on the table, on the street…. AT: + đứng trước thời gian Ex: at 8.00 ( at home, at the moment, at night…) FOR + khoảng thời gian Ex: for a week, for two days, for breakfast / lunch / dinner… III.SUGGESTIONS: V.QUESTION WORDS:
V. ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY: always, usually , often , sometimes , never Vị trí : + đứng sau động từ “tobe” + đứng trước động từ thường + đứng giữa trợ động từ và động từ chính
She doesn’t sometimes have milk for breakfast. It’s often cold in the winter.
VII.SOME VERBS. 1. would like (muốn, cần) would like + Noun / to-infinitive Ex: What would you like? + I’d like a bottle of cooking oil. + I’d like to buy a bottle of cooking oil.
I want / need to eat some beef. 3. Like/ Go Like/go + V-ing Ex: I like going swimming in the river in the summer. 4. should (nên) shouldn’t (không nên) Ex: We shouldn’t leave our trash. We should put it in a bag. VIII. A , AN, SOME, ANY : 1) A / AN (MỘT) + singular noun (danh từ số ít) AN: đứng trước từ bắt đầu bằng một chữ cái nguyên âm. Ex: an old house an ice-cream A: đứng trước từ bắt đầu bằng một chữ cái phụ âm. Ex: a teacher 2) SOME / ANY (một vài, một ít) + plural countable noun / uncountable noun (danh từ số nhiều đếm được / dant từ không đếm được) SOME: dung trong câu khẳng định. ANY : dung trong câu phủ định và câu nghi vấn. Ex: There are some oranges on the table. Is there any fish for lunch? There aren’t any students in the classroom.
3) A FEW + plural countable noun.(danh từ số nhiều đếm được) 4) A LITTLE + uncountable noun 5) A LOT OF/ LOTS OF + plural countable noun / uncountable noun EXERCISES: I .Supply the correct tense of the verbs : 1.
