3. Round 1 Individual
Rules


  1. You have 40 minutes to answer as many questions as possible.




  1. Questions are awarded points according to difficulty from 1-4 so choose questions carefully to gain maximum points.



  1. You should use rough paper for working out.



  1. Fill in your answers on the answer sheet not on the question sheet.



  1. The maximum mark is 40



  1. The maximum mark for a team is 120.

Round 2 1-2-3
Rules


  1. In your team you have 3 questions to answer for each round.




  1. They must be answered in sequence. Team member 1 answers and passes his solution to team member 2 who uses this answer to solve his problem in turn he passes his solution on to team member 3 and then he/she can finish the questions.



  1. Team members must not help each other with questions.



  1. You have 3 minutes to answer each round then answers must be submitted.



  1. You will receive 4 points for the each correct answer and an extra 4 points if all three answers are correct.

There will be 5 rounds (each worth 16 points)

  1. The maximum mark for this is 80.

  1. You must run and collect the question from your team guide.




  1. All team members should work together to solve the problem.



  1. Solutions should be delivered to the team guide for marking. If incorrect you can return and try again but after 3 tries you will be marked incorrect.



  1. Each question is worth ? marks. There are ? questions in total.



  1. The maximum mark for this 80.
