| Topic 4: Talk about a special occasion in Vietnam or in the world:
The Lunar New Year festival which is the occasion expected the most by Vietnamese people every year. The festival usually lasts for around 3-4 days. There are some common things that people do during this festival. Perhaps the most important thing is that people who work and study in big cities would go back to their hometown to celebrate the new year with their families and relatives. The new year festival is one of very few occasions that families can gather together. Another thing that we usually do is that we give children some “lucky money” with the hope that it will bring fortune to those kids. We also have some other activities such as making “chung” cake and temple. The new year festival is so important to me . The reason is because we get more days off from work and study. It is also a great time to think about what we have done in the previous year, and to make plans for the upcoming year. Topic 5: Describe one of your family members: I will talk to you about my mother. She is a English teacher. So, my mother is like my English teacher. In the past, when I was a child my mother taught a lot about English skills. So, now my English is really good. The next point, I want to say is that my mother really like travelling. At weekend or on holiday, I and my mother often go to picnic or go to Ha Long beach. This is my mother’s favorite place. Not only that, I can say that my mother cook very good. I don’t like to go out in order to eat because I see that my mother’s meal is the best. In conclusion, I want to say I really love my mom. Topic 6: Talk about your holiday: My last vacation was during the national holiday. I traveled in Ha Long Bay, Ha Long Bay was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for the second time, that place is famous for its sea and seafood dishes. I know Ha Long because it's a small part of my hometown. I went there with my family. I go there by car, it takes me 30 minutes. I stayed there for 2 days and 1 night, at FLC Ha Long hotel. The food here is famous for its fresh seafood dishes with very friendly people. The weather the day I went there was sunny and cool. There I went with my family to amusement parks, visited Ha Long Bay and went to the beach. My favorite thing about this trip is going to see the beautiful scenery of my hometown with my family.
