3.1. Gas Production Kinetics Parameters

The effects of AOAN supplementation on the gas production kinetics parameters of

the TMR and the three different roughages are shown in Figure

1

To  assess  the  correlation  between  the  phenotypic  variables  and  the  relative  abun-

dance of microbial genera, the Spearman correlation test was performed using SPSS 20.0 

(IBM, Armonk, NY, USA), and plotted using GraphPad Prism 7 (GraphPad Software, San 

Diego, CA, USA). For each correlation, the correlation coefficient value ranged from −1 to 

+1  with  larger  absolute  values  indicating  a  stronger  relationship  and  positive/negative 

values indicating the direction of the association.
